The Founder

Founder of Widows Closets, Grief Notes, and the Grieve Believe Rebuild Program
As a widow, I understand the pain and uncertainty of moving forward after the death of a spouse. When the funeral flowers fade, and everyone walks away, grief stays. Because the bereaved are often busy making funeral arrangements and handling personal affairs, the reality of living without your loved ones does not truly sink in until after the funeral.

Express and Honoring Grief Through Poetry

Writing poetry has also been my source of comfort. I survived the darkest moments of my grief by writing grief notes to myself daily. Writing and reading the Grief Notes allowed me to express, release, and honor the painful grief that I was  carrying. Now with care and consideration for your grief we have curated Grief Resources to give you a dose of hope when you need it the most.
“My mind is weary, my heart cries. Pieces of me withered away when you died.”
“Widows Closets is my ministry, my song of praise, and my way of honoring God for keeping me in my darkest hour.”

Thank you for connecting with me on this grief journey.
